Focus on: piercing rings

Thin, decorated with rhinestones, in the ear or in the nose piercing, the rings are available to suit everyone's style.

Today, let's discover which ones you're falling for, how to choose them, and how to wear them!

THE SIZE OF PIERCING RINGS

It's often difficult to choose the right diameter for your ring. It shouldn't be too small, as it would compress the ear and the piercing would then become painful.

Too big, the ring can lose its charm!

Here are some standard sizes for rings. Note that ring size can vary depending on individual body shape and how the piercing was done.

TRAGUS RING: 6mm is the most commonly worn size. A small diameter for a piercing that goes around the tragus. 7mm will also fit a tragus piercing!

HELIX RING: the size will depend on several things: the desired result, the hem of the ear and the location of the piercing.

For a standard, with a well-plated ring, you will need to opt for 7mm.

The 8mm will guarantee comfort and a slightly drooping ring.

NOSE RING: Once again, the internal diameter of a nose ring is difficult to choose. The shape and height of the nose piercing are decisive factors in choosing your ring.

You can ask your piercer or measure the size from the entrance of your piercing to the edge of your nostril.

A nose ring fits perfectly flat. It will be even more comfortable if the size is right! 7mm is the standard size for a nose ring. Be careful! It's important to choose a ring that's 0.8mm thick! This is the standard thickness for nose jewelry.

NIPPLE RING: 8mm is the ideal size for a male nipple piercing. For you ladies, it will depend on your body shape.

You will need to count at least 10mm.

SEPTUM RING: 7mm for a ring that will encircle the nasal septum and 8mm for a slightly more relaxed ring.

LIP: It is imperative to consult your piercer before considering a labret ring. If you are not yet pierced, specify to the piercer that you will be wearing a circular piece of jewelry in the future. The piercing will be done accordingly.

THE BASIC RING

The simple ring comes in several different forms. Let's start with the one that revolutionized the world of piercing: the clicker!

This ring snaps on and off with just one click! It couldn't be easier to put on! With its hinge, the ring opens wide to slide into your piercing hole.

With a diameter of 1.2mm, it will clip onto any helix, tragus, nipple piercing, etc.! No need for pliers or professional assistance to fit this piercing ring.

THE THIN PIERCING RING

The thin ring is a very fashionable piece of jewelry! In yellow or white gold, it can easily be worn around the nostril and ears.

The nose ring below is ideal! It is easily installed by spreading the opening as shown in the photo and tightens in the same way once installed.

Its 0.8mm diameter makes it very malleable. It is also the standard diameter for a nose piercing.

The thin ring can also be worn on ear piercings: helix, tragus, daith, anti-helix, lobe, etc.

Thinner than a standard ear piercing, it can be fitted without any problem.

In order to be able to go back to a standard bar later, we advise you to use a greasy substance when you want to go back to 1.2mm.

So easy to put on and so refined: this ring is a best seller!

Looking for an elegant piercing? You'll definitely fall for zirconia rings.

Of the same thickness, they are just as easy to install!

The BCR

The BCR ring is the ultimate piercing! The ring called a BCR is a ring with a ball.

This small ball clips onto the circular base using the two small notches located on the ball.

Impeccably held, the BCR sometimes requires the help of an instrument for installation.
